• Location Data: We collect precise location data, including when the app is in the background, to enable real-time trip coordination with your friends. This is the core functionality of the app.
• User Profile: We collect your nickname (which you provide) and an assigned user ID to identify you within a trip.
• Device Information: We collect device identifiers and usage data for analytics and app performance monitoring.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide real-time location sharing with your trip group.
• To send proximity alerts (e.g., if you get too far from the group).
• To manage trip sessions and user status.
• To improve app performance and fix bugs.

4. Information Sharing

Your location and status are shared only with other participants in the specific trip you have joined. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We use third-party services like PostHog for analytics.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Trips and associated location data are immediately and permanently deleted from our servers when the host ends the trip. For abandoned trips, data is automatically deleted after 24 hours of inactivity. You can delete your local app data by clearing storage or uninstalling the app.

6. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it.
